Cake & Cookie Butter Ice Cream will always hold a special place in my heart because it was the first recipe we used for our YouTube series!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup whole milk
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup of cake mix
1 scoop of cookie butter
Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar and brown sugar. Whisk until well combined.
Pour in the whole milk and whisk until the sugar is fully dissolved.
Add the heavy cream to the bowl and whisk until the mixture is smooth.
Add the cake mix to the bowl and whisk until the mix is fully incorporated.
Finally, add a scoop of cookie butter to the bowl and whisk until the mixture is fully combined.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Once the ice cream is finished churning, transfer it to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
The result of this recipe is a rich and creamy ice cream with a unique flavor profile. The cake mix adds a subtle sweetness and depth of flavor, while the cookie butter adds a delicious nutty and buttery taste.
You can customize this ice cream base recipe by swapping out the cake mix and cookie butter for your favorite flavors. For example, you could use chocolate cake mix and peanut butter instead of the vanilla cake mix and cookie butter to create a chocolate peanut butter ice cream.
